Bio

Like her mother, Michelle grew up in a military base in the Philippines and currently lives in Penngrove, CA. After working in commercial operations in the pharmaceutical industry for 14 years, she moved to London to pursue a postgraduate art degree at Goldsmiths University of London. She is currently a Board Member and the Treasurer for the North Bay Performing Arts Association DBA Contessi Ballet School in Penngrove. 

Her mixed media work was recently exhibited in the 2023 de Young Open. In 2022, she received the Creative Sonoma ArtSurround Grant and the YBCA Artist Power Convenings Grant. Her work has been acquired by the Pepperwood Preserve and private collections in New York, Seattle and San Francisco.

Michelle is also a STOTT PILATES® trained mat and reformer instructor.
